Enicar makes some fantastic looking pieces that can be had for a good deal. This Sherpa Guide is their GMT model featuring the in-house developed Enicar 166 movement. The outer bezel shows worldwide cities and the red index can be rotated 360° to keep track of any of the cities featured. Tracking a second timezone, the inner bezel is rotated with the crown at 2. These are often found faded and abused – used for their intended purpose I imagine. However, the condition of this all-original piece is quite literally astounding. At 44mm this is an easily wearable watch and it’s guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.
Vintage diver? Check. Bright colors? Check. Cushion case? Check. GMT complication? Check. Inner rotating bezel? Check.

CASE & BACK: This Vintage Enicar Sherpa Guide measures a very large 44 x 47mm not including crowns and is 14mm to the top of the flush fit crystal.  But due to the hidden case lugs it wera like a normal 41/42mm watch Very good condition overall and it looks lightly worn. The outer part of the screwed steel back has some very light and superficial scratches but shows its original Enicar nomenclature of the period , serial 1267272

BEZEL: Unlike most Enicar Sherpa Guides this bezel is still flawless and shows none of the normal wear on the edge. All cities are still readable and the bezel is not chipped or scratched

DIAL & HANDS: Absolutely Mint dial , stunning colour combination , all hands original and original lume still in place with chequered GMT hand

CROWN & PUSHERS: the crowns looks very clean and winds and pulls out to the time-setting position as it should. Also the 2nd crown operates the inner ring flawless. they sit tightly against the case.

CRYSTAL: Very Large flush-fit acrylic crystal is Excellent and no marks and sits barely proud of the bezel

MOVEMENT: In-house Enicar automatic GMT movement  Watch is keeping good time with a strong power reserve . This is guaranteed to be the case at the time of shipment.

BRACELET / STRAP: This Enicar Sherpa Guide GMT 600 still has its original Enicar signed bracelet
